Blogfriends With Babies,
Go. To. Target.
They are clearancing their summer value packs including...diapers! I got a case of 116 size 3 diapers for $23 instead of $28! Woo Hoo! They had a ton of Huggies and Pampers. Happy hunting.

Rolly Poly II
***WARNING: NUDITY!***
Gracie hasn't had the desire to roll over yet. She normally just moves counterclockwise around the blanket. I took some time-lapse photography of her on her blanket tonight. She started vertical in the exact middle!
After watching her do that for a while, I ran to the bathroom and when I got back she was on her tummy!
Aaah, I missed it!!
I got the camera ready, and was able to capture her second real attempt at rolling over. She never gets her left arm out from under her, but otherwise she got it!
She is amazing. I love this motherhood gig.
For You, God
We just got the letter from the church saying that we will be involved in the Child Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, November 30th at 11:00 a.m. I am a little disappointed that we have to wait so long-I tried to get in to the August service, but they like to keep them little (which I appreciate) and there were already 8 families signed up. All are welcome to come an see little Gracie Bean get dedicated to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Solid
Gracie's first attempt at Rice Cereal was not very successful. She spit out pretty much all of it until I gave up and nursed her. However, in hindsight I decided it was probably too thick. Last night I decided to try again. I mixed it much thinner-almost completely liquid and she ate it all! I did it again today, making it slightly thicker but still very runny and she ate it all, with a smile. Brian also tried baby food Peas this morning, but when I got home there was a lot on her shirt, so I don't know if she actually got any down.

Check Up
Gracie had her four month check up on her four month birthday, the ninth. She is doing well, and as we suspected, is growing quickly! She was 14 lbs. 4 oz (80th percentile) and 24 1/2" long (70th percentile). We were given the bittersweet approval to start rice cereal and continue introducing new foods, starting with green veggies. Brian brought the cereal home from work last night, and I hope to give her some when she gets up from her nap. She also got more vaccinations, which left her very tuckered out after a long series of tears. However, I made Daddy come with me this time, so he took care of that! The picture is of her about an hour after her appointment-worn out from crying.

I Give Up
Serenade
I learned something today. If I want my daughter to serenade me, I need to turn off the Brewers game. She was quite distracted. The last few nights she has spent at least an hour singing. Sometimes so loud I can't even hear the t.v. Ahh, what a sweeter sound I am listening to though!

Weekend in MN
Brian, Gracie, Josey, and I went to Minnesota last weekend to see friends and family, watch the Brewers play the Twins, and pick out dresses for Jon and Carrie's wedding. We planed on staying at my parent's house all weekend (well, Thursday-Sunday, long weekend!) so I didn't bring our Pack N Play because my mom has one. Then we ended up at Brian's parent's house on Thursday night. With no place for Gracie to sleep, we improvised with a dresser drawer! Saturday we went to David's Bridal to look for dresses. Gracie had a lot of fun, because Shirley was there. They truly are best friends...
