Post Halloween

 Daddy and I hit the post Halloween sales for dress up costumes for the kids. We have lots of dress up stuff, but it's all girly, and we're pretty into super heroes these days. Among others, we got these. . .

 I love it when my girls break out the dress up stuff. Yeah, it's messy and sometimes takes a while to get cleaned up, but it's so much fun! Last night they got it out to become fairy princesses. They each got a wand and took turns turning me into things. They were pretty nice, and stuck mostly to turning me into a princess and back into mommy.

Haircut

Gracie has mentioned haircuts a lot lately. Usually when her hair is getting in her face and she's frustrated with it. When I ask if she really wants one, though, she looks at me like I'm crazy and says no.

One day Gracie got out her plastic silverware and decided to give Brianna a "haircut." Bee was ok with it, as long as she could sit at the table like a big girl.

The girls and I stopped by Dairy Queen on the way to Daddy's softball game. I shared a Blizzard with Bee and got Gracie an ice cream cone. When Bee and I finished our treat I got up to grab some napkins and came back to find this:

Gracie is such a great big sister. Now that Bee is eating grown up foods Gracie loves to break food into tiny pieces and feed them to her. She also loves to share her treats...

Some of my favorite pictures of Gracie when she was littler were of her in her kitty outfit. I found the outfit while going through the girls' clothes a few weeks ago, and Bee wore it to bed the other day. She is just as cute as Gracie was in it, that is for sure!

Classics

While new ideas are fun and exciting, there's something to be said of the classics. Like a pots/pans drum set with wooden spoon drumsticks. I wasn't sure if B was going to appreciate the noise, so I kept her off to the side at first.

When she started dancing along, I figured she wanted in!

Big Sis Lil Sis

For Bri's dedication, my brother and his family got my girls matching necklaces. They are like the BFF necklaces, with a broken heart. One side says "Big Sis" and the other says "Lil Sis." Gracie was so excited when she opened them. She insisted that I put her on her right away. Here she is showing it off.
