Ready!

I was meeting my sister-in-law and her daughters at a friends house to get photos taken of our girls. I had them both ready, everything packed and in the car. All I had to do was get the kids in the car. I turned around just in time to see Gracie jam her fingers into one of my lipsticks and wipe it across Brianna's face.

Fun in the Sun

Christmas in May!

While working on my massive clothing project today, Gracie found this Christmas outfit. She insisted on putting it on-despite the fact that it's a size 18 months, and May. She also found the Elmo underwear that we bought a few months ago and asked to put them on. I don't think she's ready for underwear yet, but it's a weekend and I don't want to discourage her interest in potty training. So she's wearing underwear for the first time today!

She had so much fun with the underwear that she decided to put them all in her watering can and carry them around! So silly.

Tiny Dancer

At the same sale that I found the Doctor Kit, I also found a pair of tap shoes. Gracie wore them to Grandma's house and church on Sunday. The video is of her first time wearing them, in Grandma's driveway.

Picnic Time!

I got Gracie a picnic table at Aldi today. It even has an umbrella to give us a bit of shade this summer. Gracie seemed to enjoy her first time playing with it today.

First, we must get all the fun out of the box, of course!

Big Sis Lil Sis

For Bri's dedication, my brother and his family got my girls matching necklaces. They are like the BFF necklaces, with a broken heart. One side says "Big Sis" and the other says "Lil Sis." Gracie was so excited when she opened them. She insisted that I put her on her right away. Here she is showing it off.

Beauty Parlor

Carrie came over after the zoo, and we had a lot more fun. We played on the playground, painted, and took a bath. Of course, after every bath there must be some primping. . .

Girlie Afternoon

Our girls have needed their nails cut for a while, but I misplaced the baby clippers. I finally got to Wal Mart and bought another pair. Gracie hate having her nails clipped, so I got out some nail polish to try and make her more excited for the process. It certainly worked-when I was done with her, she instructed me to do "baby" too! Then, of course "momma!" needed to be done. So, all of us girls now have nicely polished toes and fingers.

Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to paint a wiggling four month old's toes?

Gracie usually hates clips. As fast as I can get one in her hair, she's pulling it out.
Today, though, they are apparently very fun.

Girlie Pictures

The girls and I went to JC Penney today to get our pictures taken. Here are my favs from our session. We also had a session with cousin Elara. We had a lot of fun!

So Pretty

Gracie made a new friend the other day. Her new friend is Abby*, and she's an eleven year old neighbor who desperately wants to babysit Gracie. Sorry Abby, that's Grandmas' job. Anyway, Abby likes to play with Gracie on our complex playground. She even knocked on our patio door the other day to see if Gracie could come out and play with her. I supervised, but let them play. I must admit, she is very good with Gracie. She even gave Gracie a pretty bracelet, which Gracie decided baby needed to wear:
