AWANA Carnival

Gracie had her AWANA carnival a couple of weeks ago. Families are invited to come too, so Daddy and I brought the littles to celebrate with Gracie and her Cubbie group. Gracie was asked to stay with her group, so Daddy took Jerry and I took Bee. So if it seems like most of the pictures are of Bee, that would be why. 

Easter 2013 Part 2

Easter Bunny

Daddy and I were marveling at how long the kids stayed in bed on Easter morning. Suddenly I heard scream/crying from downstairs. I figured it was Bee, as she does that sometimes but when I got downstairs the crying was coming from Gracie's room. This kind of scared me, as she's pretty good about taking care of her problems or finding one of us to help her. I asked her what was wrong and she exclaimed "I have to go potty REALLY BAD!" Confused, I rushed her to the bathroom. When she was settled on the potty I asked her why she didn't just get up and go and she replied "I wasn't sure if the Easter bunny was done with his job!" The night before we told the kids if they got out of bed the Easter bunny would be scared away without being able to finish his job of hiding their baskets.

Halloween 2012

After several costume changes, here are the 2012 trick-or-treating photos.

Gracie kept making a sweeping motion with her arm and sweetly saying "Bonjour. I am Belle"

Ironically, as we were leaving the house Snow White asked me for an apple...

I LOVE my new city. We hadn't even gotten to the end of our driveway when a police car pulled aside. The officer gave the kids candy, but also glow stick necklaces! They were thrilled.

Fall Fun

 My camera cord suddenly stopped fitting into the camera properly, so I have a bunch of photos from the last month or so to upload and blog about. These are just a fall day when we decided to go to the park near our old apartment.

T~Ball

 Gracie started T-ball a couple of weeks ago. For those of you that are uninformed about T-ball, there are no outs and every kid bats every inning. Every hit gets one base, no matter how far it is hit, or if the fielder gets the ball to the base before the runner. It's all about learning the basics of the game.

Christmas Day

 

Christmas Day we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and presents with them and Daddy's sister's family.  Bee got a huge stuffed Brobee (from You Gabba Gabba, her fav show), and I think that present has been the biggest hit of Christmas. Yesterday after her nap she played "naptime" with Brobee for a really long time. She's put him to bed in the hallway and tuck him in with all her blankies. Too cute. 

 

The pictures above and below the girls are singing "Happy Birthday" to the baby Jesus from Grandma's nativity scene. After presents we sang to baby Jesus and had some birthday cake for him. 

 

Of course, Brobee had to sit by Bee to eat cake!
