We are celebrating Daddy's birthday this weekend. It was actually at the beginning of the month, but he had finals to prepare for, so now that they are over we are getting to the fun! Today TPT Kids and Como Town hosted a Family Fun Day. It was so much fun-until it down poured on us! We got about an hour of fun, including Gracie's first couple of amusement park rides.
Gracie's first ride-the Tilt-A-Whirl. She wasn't too sure about it, and about 3/4 of the way through the ride looked up and proclaimed "All done!" She did pretty well though, and after we were done she said that she had fun.
She LOVED the cars! The video melts my heart every time I watch it-I've already watched it at least four times!
She also got to meet two of her favorite characters-Curious George and Clifford the Big Red Dog. She gave George a high (to her) five and petted him for a little while. When she saw "Cliffy" she actually started bouncing, she was so excited! I brought her to him, and she gave him imaginary treats, which he took in his hands and gobbled up. She was glowing, she was so happy that he ate her treats! She ran back to Daddy to tell him all about it!

That was so much fun. Thanks for organizing it. Too bad it rained. We'll definitely have to go to Como again.
