Cut

I've been spending a lot of my spare time getting ready for Brianna's birthday party, so when I got my scissors out to cut out her party favor boxes Gracie was very interested. I was feeling brave, so I got a pair of child scissors out and showed her how to use them. She's used them in the church nursery for playdoh, but never for paper.
She got a little bit frustrated~I don't think her fingers are quite long enough. She was able to cut a lot of little fringes along the edges of the paper though.

And that is a perfect example of how a preschooler will soon learn excellent cutting skills! The fringing is terrific!
